The so called Christian party apparently objects to the most famous rule Jesus ever offered. At Youtube here. If you don't support the principle that the rules that apply to them ought to apply to us what do you offer in its place?
Ah, but it's not Jesus that Paul is borrowing from here; it's Hillel: "What is hateful to you, do not do to your neighbor." (The Jesus version is "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.") I'm sure that the discriminating and learned Christian audience booed Paul for that reason. ;-)
